  I like how the stretched textures in the background give a 'motion blur' effect, making it look as though the car is reaching warp speed.

  Remko I think it hit around 300MPH. This is a special track that I found..to use it though you got to have a replay saved..I had to stop using it though, way too hard to drive..oh my eyes. ?.
