  Wow that's a lot of polies, but what's the use if you can't normally race. Are you able to watch the car in the playermenu's?

    Yes, this is actually playable, but eitherway only if you're beyond the grid or you use DirectX as renderer. nGlide always lags with modded cars, no matter how many polies the cars have

  So, if I buy a modern multi-core CPU PC, it will still lag in this case because of game engine limits.

    You can easily use more than 1 cpu cores. I'm using 4 virtual ones and there are no problems. But my PC is some years old now. All i know is that when using nGlide as a renderer and only having 1 CPU core in use, the game is not playable
