Those wheels? Stuck to that mesh? Thats an insult to the modeler that made this car..

The only reason I put less high poly wheels on the cars is to have a good balance in the ploycount. If I don't do that, I am stuck with the Original NFS cars. And I personally don't see it as an insult actually. If I publish the car on the internet as an addon, then it's an insult, I think.

Good point Code4 , I modify cars all the time.3D wheels are not a pre for me.But when you show pic's, you can expect reactions like Freak-DS.

See it from this point: modelers put a lot of effort into cars to make them the way they are.
Now, when you put such bad 2d wheels with painted brakes that rotate among them on a model, then the modeler had a lot of work for nothing.. building nice 3d rims takes time, too. I'm a bit sensitive to that, because I spend a LOT of time on my cars, but thats just my two cents. I reduced some conversion cars at times, too, e.g. removed some rows or unecessary polies here and there to balance them a bit. But when I build a car from scratch with a desired target poly count (usually 6000 for me) then I try to do my best to reach this. And sometimes that means rebuilding wheels 3 or 4 times until I find a proper way of minimizing polycount with maximum details. Now when you post pictures of cars with 2D wheels, I instantly ask myself, why do I even spend all the time for that on my own cars? I didn't build that Z4, but still, thats what I think.

@ Freak-DS, I totally understand your point. And please, don't think your time on creating the ideal parts for NFS 4 is useless. If my NFS 4 could run all cars with a higher polycount (I am stuck to 3500 poly's because of bad performances from my computer) I definitely would stay with the Original apearance of the addon cars. Despite the changes I make to the cars for my own use, I also like to share my presence with this game. But I think it might be better to be more specific with my screenshots.
It was absolutely not my intention to insult people here in the car modeling world. If this has happened, I'm sorry.

Not many of my nfs4 cars are original anymore. To avoid discussions I don't upload pic's anymore.

After reading Freak's comment I wondered how real cardesigners feel when people start modifying their creations.
