I think he means "Duel" (1971) Steven Spielberg's first movie, where a mysterious tanker truck chases a salesman driving a bright red saloon car not unlike the Chevrolet Caprice in this screenshot (although in the film it was an older model Plymouth)

You really know how to make NFS3 shine!

With the widescreen patch and these high resolution textures (Thanks Veg for making that possible!) combined with your very solid model changes and that clever interior "trick" this reaaaally outshines NFS4. Too bad that gameplay wise and physics wise it canĀ“t even come close. So I hope that Veg will make all this possible for NFS4, too.

Buuuuut... I have a tiny bit of criticism: As I said: I really like that kind of fake, all black interior. But it looks a bit strange with the windows completely transparent. You should consider tinting them to a dark green/grey color to have a more natural look. Maybe it is already enough to texture them as a semi-transparent material on a dark part of the texture map instead of a white one... take a look at AJLethals NazcaC2 or XJ220s Lamborghini Cala for NFS4 for good examples. Or maybe you could use the trick to map the windows in a "half a pixel" part between a dark pixel with alpha channel and one without like that:

Indeed, I'm still figuring out on how the windows should look like to get it right, so might even switch to semi-transparent technique someday.

As for the gameplay, well, me and rata_536 here had found some interesting things in exe, that might come in handy to modding purposes. And also there a lot other interesting discoveries were done. From my side, I have a list of offsets that could be changed in order to change gameplay, and combined with different CARP creation methods, I can say that NFS can be enjoyable in both graphic and physics side already :)
