Hmm.. I forgot I uploaded this pic here. But this ''3D cafe''conversion is indeed a competitor to your 911 Freak-DS.The shape is very accurate.I reduced some polies and modified a bit.Same for Countach in the background.

Since 3D-Cafe models are free to use you could upload it here and let the others take a look and a spin for comparsion... ;)
FreakĀ“s Porsche is still far ahead because it is made sooo much cleaner but a new NFS4 addon is always a good thing :)

I replaced the wheels (over 1000 polies each) with the ones from RSR team (yeh I'm a thief).Around the windows you could look in the car.So I set the windowframe (OC part)in the correct place.Put in a lowpoly interior and gave it dark tinted windows.

I don't believe Freak-DS will give his wheels to a competitor.

Hard to judge the shape from this flat squeezed picture. The normals on the hood are awful and the interior lacks detail.. otherwise, doesnt look too bad. You might understand that I prefer my own work though :P
Yes, I find it sad that you rather prefer to use some 3d cafe model with US headlights and stuff but feel free to use my wheels - every new addition to nfs 4 is welcome - but credit me. And please, correct the UV-Mapping..

I never said that I prefer this.I have limited knowledge about carmaking.Everything on your car is better. But there's something in the proportions/shape that makes this one different. You can judge by downloading the original at nfscars.

good shot. and yes, the Team RSR Porsches are of far higher quality, but this one looks okay for being based on a free model. Still - if I had any 3D modeling skill I would focus my efforts on a car that hasn't been made yet in such high detail. but that's just me...

What ever became of 3D Cafe? Seems gone..I've searched and searched for it for years but never found it, I was gonna check it out since I heard everything on there was free vs alot of other sites trying to sell autos they don't have the leagal right to sell.
