  Yeah..That part is funny XD..I now am playing HighStakes on Windows 7 as that is what my new PC has..Check my forum in NFS Cars for details how to force it..I do mean FORCE XD..In Windows 7.

  you mean you have a new pc and you still are resizing these pictures from 640 x 480 or sth. with paint? Oo

  Freak-DS: No..These are OLDIES see the site takes FOREVER to get them up :D My new PC only runs NFS HighStakes on a thing called VooDoo Glide Wrapper..Even though I don't have VooDoo XD..It's the only mode it will accept without the game saying: NFS HighStakes files are corrupted,please reinstall..Windows 7 seems to only support it in VooDoo graphics mode..It's not as good as this mode was (you see here) but it'll do..I have a nice guide for running HighStakes on Windows 7 too: Link You have to force it to run it and I do mean FORCE XD because the final part of the install from the CD..The 3D setup will hang..Just got to task manager (CTL ALT DEL) and end that part..I think it was called 3D setDLL or something like that, then it will finish it's install and then you need to install the NFS HighStakes stock pack from IP lounge and select HighPoly cars patch,Vista Tweaks,GlideWrapper,New NFS HS 3D setup (but DO NOT do anything to try the Direct 3D stuff)Set Starter Rights,and NFS HS Starter to run it..It will ask you to configure glide wrapper..Do this then run it..It should play fine. If it don't then go to desktop and right click the NFS HighStakes icon..Make sure you DON'T have a compatibility mode selected..Even though the PC will reccomend Win XP SP3 or Win 98 turn those off or it won't play..You'll get a white post it note that pops up from EA Seattle and says something about how a patch failed if you don't do this.
