Description
Need For Speed Most Wanted Recource Pack
This is primarily modder's resource library. It will not change anything in vanilla game unless you check add brakes or replace paints or other stuff.
VERY IMPORTANT!!! INSTALL UNLIMITER BEFORE INSTALLING THIS MOD!!!
The purpose of this is not only to give more global texture for modders, it is also
to make future mods sizes smaller (because they will not need to include those textures themselves).
This pack will be the dependency tho.
This pack will add 14 FNGFixes for decals, rims, parts, paint, tops and their backroom equivalent. With this, options not showing up will be just a bad memory.
When you map tire to NFS Carbon uv mapping, and assign TIRE_STYLE01.dds to it, Unlimiter's "Tire" option will allow you to change tire style to new ones.
Non-modders can use this feature in my rimpack, as well as my RX8 EC.
Add new brakes mod will add brake options to all cars, however you need to enable brake customization in {nfs mw folder}\scripts\UnlimiterData\_General.ini or {yourcarname}.ini
Add different paints will add custom paints in gloss, metallic and custom category. Add rim paints will do the same to rim paints.
Add new licenseplates will add new licenseplates textures, and options (if chosen).
Add limo tint will add new window tint, that is almost solid (hides interior well).
Now includes r1tavratask1's (Vee's) paints!
Usage:
Modders:
use it just like you would use any other global texture.
Normal users:
If you select more tire textures, and you are using any mod that uses TIRE_STYLE01 - you can have more tire textures
If you select more brakes mod, you will have more brakes
If you select replace paint, you will have different paint colors for all the cars
If you select more licenseplates, you will have more licenseplate textures
If you select more licenseplate options, you will have few more licenseplate options (more of the options coming soon)
Installation:
User zone installation:
1. click on user mode, then select "Binary Install.end"
2. select nfsmw's installation folder (folder when your nfs's .exe is in)
3. from dropdown menu select install and click ok
4. next few windows will ask you if you want certain things installed or not - it's your choice!
5. when it asks if you'd like to save, hit "yes"
Modder zone installation:
1. in binary, modder zone, hit Main -> Import Endscript
2. then navigate to FILES folder, and select INSTALL.end
3. after installing, save

there seems to be some issue going on with Vee's paints, so download 1.3 for now

first of all please use interpunction because if you dont you make it hard to read
Also, 8 is the amount I put in game at the moment (I had to switch their alpha type for them to work correctly, for each and every licenseplate texture, which is 400+)
And since I need to create a node for every licenseplate (so 400+ nodes) - 8 is all I had strength and time for currently.
More will be up in next update, and who knows - maybe I'll manage to add 'em all until then!

And yeah, licenseplate options not being there is not a bug, and I will most likely have a full fix for that in next updateyou need unlimiter, and you have to have the tire customization enabled in .ini (scripts -> UnlimiterData -> General.ini or {carname}.ini)

Can you help me? is there any .INI setting to change the brake disk position? It's going through the wheels and it makes me nervous...
my mod does not modify headlights of any car, as those are dependent on cars (or car mods), not a global thing.
Are you sure it's my pack's fault?
By default, version 1.4 is downloaded. when installing on a clean client, we accept all offers, the headlights disappear from the car
Update
I installed versions of pure games without mods. when installing the resource pack in the game, the textures of the headlights for all cars that can be bought disappear. even on a clean version. maybe there is still some kind of mod or something needs to be edited? this happens on all versions of the texture pack. I have win10 and amd integrated video card
Again, my resource pack does not modify headlight textures/models, as those are tied to cars (both models and textures of them are per-car basis, in folder corresponding to the car)
The only thing I can think of is not enough memory maybe...
it might be something with memory tho
Do you use unlimited, extended customization, widescreen fix?
After installing those 3 you will be able to enable memory fixes, maybe that is the cause...

my copy has race fixes, had reflections, had content support, feshadows, extops, widescreen fix and mwfixes. You can delete had reflections and feshadows if you want.

This pack do not install any frontend brand textures tho...
hi aj yeah just manually add them to the frontend folder frontb.lzc also nlgzrgn has updated his unlimiter to v3.3.0.1337 so you might need to add the brand rims again

Hi, I have a question, would you add any new colors to the stickers? is this the final version of this modification and there will be no more updates?
in my opinion it is not a stupid idea nobo there are new paints for the car and there will also be new colors for car stickers
