Description

Pursuit Lada (VAZ) 2101 'Zhiguli' (1970) as a PBMW replacement for European tracks

Original author: GiviX
Edited by Paul Spain (please read 'original_readme.docx')
Multitexturing (and other features/overall reworked) by me, the Carp.txt resembles a basic 60hp Lada 1200 from 1970 ... so don't expect something like 'performance' ;)

Textures for Germany ('Volkspolizei' livery of the former GDR), France (Polish 'Milicja'), UK (Czech VB ('Veřejná bezpečnost') as well as a fully fictional Car00.tga adopted to a b/W generic US Police scheme ... well ...

The car can also be used as a 'combined' Racer AND Pursuit car with the same serial number, rename Car00.tga to something else like e.g. 'USA.tga' and rename 'Racer.tga' (contained in the Car.viv) to Car00.tga AND make the car in the FEDATA 'Pursuit = no' - that's it!

The zip file also contains a plain racer variant of the Lada 2101 (without police parts and visible siren dummies in menu) -> (Racer.zip), unzip that to a folder '2101' and change the car's default serial number in order to prevent conflicts with other cars.

This model gave birth to Lada series... derived from FIAT 124. My uncle had one... So nostalgic...

yes .. I'm currently uploading cars with a lot memories linked to it ..
I remember that our history teacher had the successor car, the Lada Niva or 'Riva' (as it is called elsewhere?) as station wagon

Frank Lada Riva was the 2107. I don't think Lada Niva got a name change elsewhwere. I will check. Also if I can find a good base I'll try to make the new Chevy Niva that took over the old Lada 212. I have a nice Russian police diecast one and I love to bring my diecast vehicles to life.

Pals just wonder if you could make a more recent police Lada Granta) This will be gr8ly appreciated cause I'm in love with this model) that car taught me to drive. A pleasant teacher indeed. Today our cops have it)

EvoX: I have seen them on GTA sites for GTA Sanandreas but I can convert them no trouble, I have alot of old soviet cars for my ColdWar mod that are conversions. I can convert one to HighStakes, You might need the Veg patch to play with it though or Frank can poly reduce it if possible.
