Well, NFSTEXTER IS A TOOL WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO MODIFY any sort of TEXT STRINGS within the Game. Eg:- if you want to add your own name in the CREDITS OPTION u can do it. And lots more fun stuff........u can change 100% all da Text of da game.....Enjoy!!!! You can Change da MENU Options texts, The Track names, Song names, and other each 'n everythingu want..A must tool for NfsLovers....................

Extract this archive to any directory of your choice.

Click the Open icon & Target/Point towards {<Nfs4Hs directory>\Data\Text}.

Its a self Explanatory program, In the Right, select the Game language you want.

At the Mid-bottom, there are Alignment keys. If a certain TEXT allows you to align it anywhere viz..left/right/middle., then this Key gets automatically enabled but,for others its alwayz OFF.

At the bottom, there is Priority setting. Actually speaking, it does not do much but, except for slow systems like Pentium2/3/Celerons, where the game runs slowly, set the priority towards Low or Mid, this factor affects the game performance b'coz we modify the ORIGINAL TEXT to a new Text & so the game may become bit slower. But for Pentium/Celerons above 833Mhz you can happily set the setting to High.

And, morever i've added Date & Time along with calender to suite your needs.
The interface is that of Win2k {2000}

Usage

Since the program is pretty close to Windows CUI there should be no problem with the usage after all. Although, some advice:

If you have problems with a dialog, press F1 or click the questionmark in the title and then on the dialogitem you want to learn about. That calls up the contextsensitive help.
The context menu in the string-list is brought up by either Shit+F10 or right mouse click.
To actually modify a string, select it and perform the slow doubleclick or press F2. Yepp, that's like "rename" in Explorer.

This Version is compatible with: NFS II SE, NFS III and NFS IV. The usage with other versions of NFS is not recommended.

A whole bunch of (probably important) data is not looked at.
A very raw file handling.
