Description

This car replaces Porsche 911 Carrera S (997S)
Converted from Forza 4 / Replaces 997S

Features:

Can be customized with:
  • License plates (in tribute to the late Saki Kaskas) [under "body kits"]
  • Splitters / roll cages / spoilers [under "hoods"]
  • Wheels
  • Paint
  • Vinyls (includes debug map)
  • Tinted windows
  • Decals
Other features:
  • NFSUC female driver model (modified textures)
  • Top speed: 200+ mph (320+ km/h) [stock] / 246 mph (397 km/h) [Ultimate/Junkman parts]
  • LOD0 interior
  • Custom 1024px vinyls included (to use with nlgzrgn's recompiled vinyls pack)

Installation:

  • Make sure you have the NFSMW Modloader installed
  • Just move the ADDONS folder to the NFSMW folder (delete any mod that replaces the 997S first)
  • To install the custom 1024px vinyls: open the VINYLS file of the ADDONS\CARS_REPLACE\997S folder with NFS-Texed, import the vinyls (guide yourself with the file names), then save.

Used tools:

Zmodeler 1.07b & 2.2.6 | Forza Studio | GIMP | NFSMW Mod Tools (with nlgzrgn's modified geometry compiler) | NFS Tex-ed 0.9.1 & 1.7 | Notepad | BinViewer

Copyrights/permissions:

  • keep this readme file without any alterations whatsoever (in case of just sharing this mod around)
  • give me proper credit (AJ_Lethal) for creating the mod
  • Seriously, respecting those conditions is not hard at all. Unless you're terminally dumb or a shameless, talentless hack.

That was actually the pre-facelift 996 GT3, like the one in Gran Turismo.
