Welcome to the newly re-designed (again) NFSAddons! The new design is not 100% finished yet, so if you find any broken links, images, download/upload problems, or anything that just looks odd, PLEASE send me an email, and let me know. I will have a news post within the next few days listing all the new/updated features. Thanks!

Description:

This was, back in 1973, the most powerful 911. Over the time it became a legend, and is very well recognizeable on details like the lovely duck tail and the Carrera decals on the sides.
Now this NFS 4 car is an as perfect as possible copy of the real car and rich of features, to be precisely it has any feature except for upgrades. This means:

- 6281 Polies
- 3D Engine
- 3D Wheels
- Almost ANY detail in 3D (Whipers, headlights, doorhandles,..)
- Highly detailed Dashview
- Very detailed textures including smooth, original decals
- 100 % accurate mesh
- Damaged model with parts under the body etc.
- Showcase
- Animated driver
- Customizable license plate
- 100% Accurate & realistic performance
- 12 Factory colors including grand-prix white in three variations,
gulf orange, gulf blue, signal yellow and much more, absolutely
real-life-like color schemes.
- ..and more!

I am absolutely impressed by this first gen 911, a basic and puristic sports car that Porsche was famous for in the 70s :) Those colour combos make me happy, fantastic dashboard view, damage model.
Guess its time to start playing NFS4 again :)

One hint about the carp.txt, I am quite sure the RS had already a five speed gearbox unlike the later 1970s 930 cars. In NFSPU it at least had 5 gears, also this site confirms it: Link

The five gear box was an option, the four gear one is more usual as far as i know.

Just perfect!
Damage is amazing - as usual. Keep up the good work!

Nevertheless it would be awesome if you decide to vary the brand sometimes^^
Do you still work on the Falcon XB???

This classic RS is the one I was waiting for (although there was allready a great nfs5 conversion by Freak-DS).

It's great to see this in the nfsHS showroom. And the slideshow is nice too. Thanks

Back in 2000 when I used to play NFSPU I wondered why the RS 2.7 had already 5 gears because the younger (1977?) 930 was only a 4-speed. Even the 935 race car had only 4 gears...wasn't Porsche good enough to build some 5 speed gearboxes for their Turbo cars in the 70s? ;)

If you had chosen one gear more, the RS wouldn't have been caught so easily by me as seen in the following video ;)

the 930's had gotten a 5 gear in '89 - thats why our 930s are from that year ;)

I really love the beauty of this car but is there anyone else who considers its engine sound quite silent? I barely hear the engine, especially in dashboard view. Tested mono and stereo sound but same result.
