Description

Revised version of AJ_Lethal's *Ford TS50* based on a HP2 Conversion of Viper J5' TS50

Featering a left-hand steering wheel (also in dashview), a sunroof and several refinements like a lit dash, Xenon headlights as well as a slightly improved Carp.txt and mesh structure which is also decreased in polyload and carmesh .fce load

The car is also downscaled to real size (factor 0.95) based on the car's wheelbase of 2.79m

I am very well aware of the fact that the real car is of Ford FTE of Australia hence correctly right-hand driven so this update is more or less 'fictional' or 'custom rebuild' .. ;)

I haven't added the VidWall and showroom files for filesize reasons so plz. d/l the original car first and unzip the necessary files (*.qfs ..) to the specified directories .. and

Have fun!

Honestly, AJ's car scale is a bit more suitable to High Stakes.
Notice if the car smaller in HS , it is more complicated to make a realistical handling to it (High Stakes' bikes and cadilacs: of reason of physical dimansions). I think AJ's TS50 is more similar to Martin Leps cars' scales. At least this is my opinion.

So then just import it to Zmodeler, unhide & select all objects except driver and head and upscale all by 1.05 (= 105%) make sure to have unchecked 'automatic normals update' (recommended) and export as new car.fce ..

the resulting fault to original car will then be -0.25% (0.95*1.05=0.9975)

or rather: upscale to 111%, downscale again by 95%, fault: +0.1775%

You can also continue using AJ's original car :o .. d/l here is NOT a must .. ;)

Playing NFS itself is not a must at all .. there's other things out there I heard .. like 'abnoeic underwater bowling' or 'advanced basket weaving' ... :D :D :D

The reason why I scale cars to size is to have comparable values among cars .. that makes it easier for example to import/export parts such as lightbars, wheels and other stuff like using a library ... :D

Martin Leps cars are usually done by default NFS4 oversize factor 1.06 .. this is normal if you do not change the ZModeler grid to 'real meters' = 1.00 (Standard Zmodeler grid is 1.06 = 'NFS4 meters' by default)

.. and just to increase your confusion: other games even use a 10% oversize (like also NFS III or other older games did, that's why the 'outside cops' appear that large since they're from NFS III still ..) or just completely different values .. :p
